Environmental Health Officer at the
Department of Occupational and Environmental Health,
Stockholm County
Council, since 1997.
- Publication of
reports and articles for the Department’s report series and journal
on environmental health topics of regional importance, e.g. air
pollution, noise, drinking water, radon, toxins, and environmental
health indicators.
- Presentation and
dissemination of Department reports, research activities, and
scientific expertise to national, regional, and local authorities.
- Participation in
strategic planning of the Department’s future development.
- Member of the
editorial group for an electronic news letter to disseminate the
results of research and expertise within the Department.
- Responsible for
implementing the Council’s environmental impact strategies at the
Department.
- Participation in
regional networks for the advancement of Environmental Health in
Stockholm County.
- Presentations and
attendance at national and international meetings and conferences as
well as seminars and symposia at Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm
County Council.
Special assignments:
- Scientific
secretary for the Swedish National Air
Pollution and Health Effects Program (SNAP), since 2001.
- Responsible
for continuous coordination, information activities, and
counseling towards national, regional and
local authorities, industry, and other stakeholders.
- Member of the
Program Board, including planning and participation in Board
meetings and assessment of applications for funding of new
research projects by the Program.
- Preparation
of the Program application and mid-term report.

for production, design, and maintenance of the Program’s home
page (www.snap.se).
